Privacy policy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information MSBTE Diploma Notes (https://msbtediplomahelp.blogspot.com) collects when you visit, why it is collected, and what choices you have. It applies to this website only.
The short version
We do not ask you to register, and we do not sell anything. We do not collect your name, address or phone number unless you choose to email us. The information collected automatically is the ordinary technical information every website receives, plus the data used by Google to serve advertising.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site and its hosting platform (Blogger, a Google service) record standard log information: your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, how long you spend on a page, and the site you arrived from. This information is not linked to anything personally identifying and is used to understand which subjects are in demand and to diagnose problems.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. This site uses cookies for two purposes:
- Site preferences. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is stored in your own browser so the site remembers it next time. It never leaves your device.
- Advertising and analytics. Set by Google and its partners, as described below.
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you reading anything on this site.
Google AdSense and third-party advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. In connection with this:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Some third-party vendors and ad networks that serve ads on this site may also use cookies or web beacons of their own. We do not control these cookies and this policy does not cover their practices.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a number of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.
For readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google presents a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are set, and your choice is respected on subsequent visits.
Google Analytics
If analytics is enabled on this site, Google Analytics collects aggregated usage statistics using cookies. It reports visitor numbers and popular pages; it does not tell us who you are. You can prevent this using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Comments
Comments are handled by Blogger and require you to sign in with a Google account. When you comment, the display name and profile picture attached to that account become publicly visible alongside your comment. Do not post your phone number, enrolment number or email address in a comment — it will be visible to everyone.
Email you send us
If you write to us, we keep your message and email address only for as long as it takes to deal with it. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not pass your address to anyone.
Downloads and external links
Study material is often hosted on external services such as Google Drive. When you follow a download link you leave this site, and the privacy policy of that service applies to what happens next. We have no control over those services and are not responsible for their practices.
Children's privacy
This site is intended for diploma students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us and it will be deleted.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to its processing. Because this site holds almost no personal data, such requests are usually simple to satisfy. Write to the address below and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will be noted in a post.
